worship Team
“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”
1 John 5:4-5 ESV
The Rise Up Worship Team is made up of worship leaders of surrounding churches. Each member of the Rise Up Worship Team is committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and promoting the message of Rise Up.

“I am so honored to be leading worship for Rise Up! Worship has been such important part of my life and ministry, and my heart is to create space where everyone can truly encounter the presence of God! Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading in many different settings, and one thing remains the same - worship is more than music; it’s about meeting Jesus in a real and life changing way!”
The Importance of worshiP
“Let everything that has breath Praise the lord!”
Psalm 150:6 ESV
Worship is an important aspect of our faith. We were made to worship God! We as humans have a deep hunger to understand our purpose and know our Creator (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Worship is how we honor and recognize God for who He is, what He has done, and what He will continue to do; it’s a part of our daily life with God. In Romans 12:1, Paul tells us “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” This tells us that worship is a day-to-day, all consuming lifestyle. When we worship, we get to experience a strong fellowship with Him. It’s how we meet with God and praise Him for all His mercy, goodness, grace, wisdom, and love, growing closer to Him. Worship changes us and makes Him known to others.
Worship can be many different things such as, praising Him through song, prayer, reading scripture, serving others, using our talents for Him, expressing gratitude. There isn’t just one way to worship! It’s not an event or a spectacle, but a daily lifestyle of putting Him first. We tend to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and fail to spend genuine quality time with God. Psalm 46:10 says “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” So, where do we start with worship? BE STILL. Slow down and make time to spend worshipping God and drawing nearer to Him. I promise, you won’t regret it!
